Seether Three Album Trilogy

Shaun Morgan has suggested the idea of a three album trilogy. This trilogy starts with Poison The Parish, Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum as the second, with a suspected upcoming third album to complete the set.

Shaun Morgan mentioned in an interview of his interest with a trilogy of albums.

There is some debate on whether this "trilogy" is three separate albums, or rather Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum (1), Purgatory EP (2), SVPPB Deluxe (3).

These three albums will most likely have similar themes/sounds. Poison The Parish & Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum have similar color schemes, lyrics and both use Shawn Coss' artwork. The third album will also use Shawn Coss' artwork.

"Chatted with Shaun last night and guess I'm designing their next album...and naming it?!" - Shawn Coss

Color Scheme: Both albums use red and white. On each album, the colors are inverted. PTP features a white background with a red image. SVPPB features the opposite with a red background and white image. They also use the same new SEETHER logo.

Lyrical Parallels and Similarities: While the meaning of Seether's music is intended for the listener, in general both albums explore the idea of social decay and toxicity. Not only this, but there are repeating phrases and parallels. The song titles also share resemblance.

Stoke The Fire/Dead and Done: Both songs use a similar opening riff

Betray and Degrade/Bruised and Bloodied: Similar song names

Saviours/Bruised and Bloodied: These songs are strikingly similar sonically

Let Me Heal/Leave Me Be: Similar song names & general theme

Something Else/On My Way: Both have similar guitar parts

Lyrics from Nothing Left: "Don't turn your back 'till there's nothing left of me"

Lyrics from On My Way: "If all I wanted was something else. Nothing left but to hurt myself"

Lyrics from Leech: "Is there nothing left?"

Lyrics from Let Me Heal: "So please let me heal"

Lyrics from Leave Me Be: "So please leave me be"

The Surface Seems So Far: TSSSF is rumored by some to be the third album to the trilogy set. If so, it would stray from the white-red color scheme. Not only was the artwork created by Shawn Coss, but also named by himself as well. Coss described the artwork saying it "is a perfect description of how the album sounds. Without saying too much it has a lot to deal with the struggle".

Track Title Similarities: A few tracks off TSSSF are reminiscent of past tracks and phrases.

"Walls Come Down" & "Leave Me Be" (Every time I see those bright lights. I feel the walls come crashing down)

"Try To Heal" & "Let Me Heal"

"Dead on The Vine" & "Misunderstood" (They keep killing the grape of the vine)

"Dead on The Vine" & "Let It Go" (When you turn sour grapes to wine, the fermentation takes some time)

Sun/Eclipse Theme: The Purgatory EP and the Judas Mind music video both show an eclipse.
