SAMA: The South African Music Awards is an annual event that honors the country's finest music talent in key categories. In 2008, Seether was nominated and won the award under the "Best English Rock" category.
"I'm really proud of it. I think more so my parents and people at home like the record company and stuff. I got a lot of messages from people saying 'finally'. It'd be nice to add to my parents collection mantle piece type thing. I think it was more like the other rock bands were so bad they had no choice [laughs]" - Shaun Morgan
MAMA: The MTV Africa Music Awards was established by MTV Networks Africa to celebrate the most popular contemporary music in Africa. In 2008, Seether was nominated for "Artist of the Year" but did not win. They did however take home "Best Alternative Artist".
BMI Pop Awards: The BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.) Awards are accolades presented annually, honoring songwriters, composers, and music publishers in various genres. Three songs, including Fine Again, Broken, and Fake It have won under the "Best Pop" category.

Artistic Expression Award: In 2016, Shaun Morgan won the Artistic Expression Award at the Awards Of Excellence from the National Council For Behavioral Health for his outstanding work as a suicide prevention advocate. Along with the award, Shaun received a $10,000 grant which went to the Rise Above Fest partner SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention.
Revolver Golden Gods Awards: In 2012, Seether was nominated for "Best Live Band". However Avenge Sevenfold won the award.
Hard Rock Songwriters Chart: Rankings based on weekly activity on the Billboard Hot 100 and other “Hot”-named genre song charts that blend streaming, airplay and sales data. In 2020, Shaun Morgan was recognized as #1.
Hard Rock Producers Chart: Rankings are based on accumulated weekly points for all charted songs on which a producer is credited. In 2020, Shaun Morgan was recognized as #2. He succeeded Godsmack frontman Sully Erna, who reigned for seven weeks.
Top Mainstream Artist: In 2008, Seether topped Billboard's Year End Chart as top mainstream artist.
The Grammy Awards: Although Seether has never won a Grammy Award, Shaun Morgan shared his thoughts with MULATSCHAG TV,
"It would be very nice to recieve something but that's not something I obsess about. I'm not one of those people that goes, 'well I need to have a Grammy, I need to do this, I need to do that'. It's more about can we still be doing this in ten years. That's what the focus is. And how do we get out of our record contract [laughs]" - Shaun Morgan (2012)
