What is Canine Riot?

Canine Riot Records is the title of Shaun Morgan's label imprint. Starting with Poison The Parish, Shaun has produced his own albums along with a few from other bands.

"We did two albums with Brenden [O'Brien]. He's a great teacher. After two albums working with him, he'd given be enough confidence that I thought I could do it myself" - Shaun Morgan

"When you have something going on in your head, to make someone else understand is quite difficult. So the only way really make it happen is to be the one trying to make that sound come out of the speakers" - Shaun Morgan

"Those big name producers are quite expensive as well. To spend tons and tons of money on producers doesn't seem like the way to go anymore. Especially if you believe enough in yourself" - Shaun Morgan

"And that’s a great thing to have when you’ve spent the first fifteen years kind of being told what to do and which way to go with it. But now that limitation has been removed" - Shaun Morgan

Not only has Shaun produced his own albums (Poison The Parish, Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum), he has produced albums for other bands as well. One of these bands it LTNT.

LTNT: LTNT (abbreviation for Lieutenant) is a British based alt-metal trio. The EP, "Yode" stars as their American debut and was produced by Shaun Morgan along side Matt Hyde.

The Brothers Moore: Another band that Shaun has worked with is The Brothers Moore. Originating from Tulsa, Oklahoma, the band was discovered by Shaun Morgan and signed to CTK Mangement, a talent management company based in Nashville Tennessee. In March of 2020, the band traveled to Nashville to record with Shaun Morgan. Two singles came out of this recording session, "Run Wild" and "Boomtown".

Seether: Both Poison The Parish and Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum were also self produced by Shaun Morgan, although SVPPB does not have the Canine Riot imprint. It was instead released under Fantasy Records. It's unknown what exactly happened with Canine Riot Records.

Following the release of "Dangerous" and "Bruised and Bloodied", Shaun Morgan reached #2 on the Hard Rock Producers Chart (Billboard) in August of 2020.
